A Note on Buying Lax Equipment
Virtually all sporting goods stores sell Lax equipment (such as Dick's or Modell's)
However... we HIGHLY recommend specialty stores such as ComLax or Lacrosse Unlimited (both with physical locations on the North Shore). They offer much better quality merchandise at comparable prices. These stores also have incredibly knowledgable (expert) sales teams that will fit your child and answer any and all questions designed specifically towards this sport. Trust us, this is the way to go.
We are truly thrilled to begin another exciting season of this amazing sport. If you have any questions at all, please do NOT hesitate to ask. Any questions specifically about the girls program can be addressed to the Girls Program Director, Cate Arkins (catearkins@verizon.net). Any questions specifically about the boys program can be addressed to the Boys Program Director, Joey Picard (joeypicard@yahoo.com). As always you can find plenty of information on our website (www.myll.org).

We look forward to seeing you after the New Years. In the meantime, have a safe and happy Holidays and New Years!

About Melrose Youth Lacrosse
Established in 2006, Melrose Youth Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing, most popular, and exciting youth organizations in the city of Melrose. A proud participating member of a state-wide developmental league, Melrose Youth Lacrosse strives to teach competitive skills to boys and girls from kindergarten to middle school. We have been doing so in a relaxed, fun learning environment conducive to the development of youth athletes. Our current players and alumni have not only learned to master the fundamentals of the sport, but they have learned to play the game safely, selflessly, and respectfully.

Our Board of Directors and coaching staff are comprised of knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated volunteers. A mixture of parents, former players, current players, and officials, our coaches are certified to teach the sport in an educational manner. We all share a life-long love for the sport of lacrosse and are honored to pass this on to the children of Melrose (and a few surrounding communities as well).

As we prepare for our seventh successful season, we offer a warm “welcome back” to all of our returning families and openly extend an invitation for all who are interested in joining our program to learn more about us. There is a wealth of information on this website. In addition, our coaches and Board of Directors are always open for answering any questions you may have through e-mail. And for true perspective, ask around your neighborhood. Melrose is teeming with lacrosse players. We are everywhere !
